My best friend is getting married in March 2010. I'm suppose to be the "best man", and whether I choose to wear a female tux, or a dress, him and his fiance want the dresses to be pink, and the men to have a pink tux. So, my questions are, where can I find a pink female tux or dress appropriate for their wedding? And should I wear a female tux, or a dress? Thanks! |

Hi Deana,
For every wedding that I've ever been to, or worked at - that also had a female best man, , , , , ,the female best man has usually worn a color coordinated bridesmaid dress (similar to, but different than that worn of the bridesmaids).
With that said, I would suggest that you look for a dress that will fit into the color theme of this wedding.
Be sure to communicate what you are doing with the bride and groom, just to make sure that you're all on the same page.
As for finding a pink tuxedo, , , from my experience, most tuxedo shops today have tuxes in all colors and styles. I recommend that if this is the route you have decided to take, visit a local tuxedo shop, and ask to see their catalog. Also, let them be a guide for you as well, they can be very helpful.

| Hello,
I was a bridesman last year and all I had to do was wear a tux and stand on the guys side.
Next year, I am returning the favour and as a groomswoman, my best girlfriend will be taking one of the bridesmaid spots. I would never ask my groomsmen to wear pink tuxedos for sure!! The biggest problem for me was convincing my fiancee to let me take up one of her bridesmaid spots.
