How long after a wedding occurs do you have to give the couple a gift?
Thanks,

Hi,

Typically, a gift should be given to the couple either prior to the wedding, or no later than the day of the wedding - if you will be attending the wedding.

If you were unable to attend the wedding for some reason, do try to send a gift at least within 1 month after the wedding (sooner if possible).

Be sure to include a card telling the couple you are sorry you missed the wedding (if this is the case), and be sure to send them good wishes along with the gift.
